451 190 OBITS burned today.





451190 OBITS at 13.51 end price was sold in this July buyback amounting to a total of 5.864.799 BTS of which 10% approx 50 BTC was used in the btc market. This amount will now be burned as well. At today's price this is 1 280 071 USD value. One more reason why I will ask for a vote to change buyback to be in bitusd only. The recent drop in bts value did not allow us to make the maximum out of this buyback. IT could have been around 2 million USD value if I had not needed to change to bts. Based on my using of the borrowing option I do have some extra bts still sitting on obits account, and this amount will be used to buy back OBITS throughout the month of JULY, provided price will rise in this time, so a small added support of another 986 000 bts used as collateral is still on account. It was not needed to comply with what I change in value on June 25th after the auction.

OpenLedger are very proud to announce that the votes are in! 251 OBITS holders out of 1800 voted for OBITS distribution to be carried out exclusively in bitUSD and on the basis of 50% sharedrop and 50% buyback and burn.

This is a marked change from before, when it was 90% in BTS and 10% in BTC, and 100% buyback and burn.
